RHS Principal


Shay St. Laurent

Shay St. Laurent is the Principal of Revere High School, where she previously served as Deputy Principal. With more than 20 years of experience in secondary education, she has dedicated her career to fostering high expectations, strengthening school culture, and creating equitable, student-centered learning environments.

As Deputy Principal at Revere High School, Shay partnered with faculty, students, families, and district leaders to advance instructional excellence, support student achievement, and strengthen systems that promote positive school culture and belonging. She helped lead school improvement efforts, supported teacher development, and worked collaboratively to ensure all students had access to meaningful academic opportunities and the resources needed to succeed.

Prior to joining Revere Public Schools, Shay served as Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Grades 6–12 in Portsmouth Public Schools, New Hampshire. In that role, she led curriculum alignment, assessment design, and professional learning, and co-chaired major district initiatives including Portrait of a Graduate implementation, strategic planning, NEASC accreditation, and the transition to an inquiry-based model of instruction.

Earlier in her career, Shay served as PK–12 Program Coordinator for Digital Learning and Innovation in Andover Public Schools, where she led districtwide blended learning initiatives and developed professional learning systems that supported innovative instructional practices. She launched and facilitated the Innovation Lab course grounded in design thinking, helped lead the IDEAStudio and Maker programs, and coordinated Andover's Global Pathways Program to expand global learning and college and career readiness.

Throughout her career, Shay has been committed to empowering educators, fostering meaningful relationships, and building systems that support excellence, innovation, and equity. As Principal of Revere High School, she is dedicated to ensuring every student is challenged, supported, and prepared for success in college, career, and life.

RHS Deputy Principal


Steve Chinosi

Stefano (Steve) Chinosi is Revere High School’s Deputy Principal and Chief Academic Officer after more than 27 years in public education as a teacher, principal, district leader, university instructor, and educational innovator. Throughout his career, Steve has focused on creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences that empower young people to think critically, solve authentic problems, collaborate across differences, and develop the skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly complex world.

Most recently, Stefano served as Principal of Portsmouth High School in New Hampshire and previously held district leadership positions supporting curriculum development, instructional improvement, professional learning, innovative programming, and strategic planning. With almost 20 years of experience as a high school classroom teacher, his work has consistently centered on strengthening instructional practice, expanding opportunities for students, and building systems that ensure all learners have access to rigorous and meaningful learning experiences.

Stefano is widely recognized for his work in deeper learning, project-based learning, global education, and instructional innovation. He is the founder of the internationally recognized Greengineering and a co-founder of the National Capstone Consortium programs and has led numerous initiatives connecting students with peers, experts, and communities around the world through authentic inquiry, design challenges, and real-world problem solving.

RHS Assistant Principal

Julianne Falzarano

Ms. Julianne Falzarano is the Assistant Principal for Student Support Team 2.  A Revere High School graduate, she has been working in Revere Public Schools since 2007 as a Mathematics/Business Teacher at RHS as well as the Head Coach of the RHS Cheerleading Team. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Northeastern University and continued her studies receiving a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Lesley University and most recently earned her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership through the University of Massachusetts Boston. She is passionate about involving students in decision making, creating exciting learning pathways, and helping students make connections in the building as well as with our Revere Community that will provide them with the resources to succeed while at RHS and beyond. RHS Assistant Principal


Afton Dean

Ms. Afton Dean is the Assistant Principal for Student Support Team 4 at Revere High School. Prior to Revere High School, she spent ten years in the Lynn Public Schools as an Instructional Technology Teacher. Ms. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Bentley University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern New Hampshire University and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Gordon College. With a passion for equipping students with college and career readiness skills, Ms. Dean is dedicated to promoting a safe and supportive environment that fosters learning and success for all students. She is also the proud handler of Bentley, our school therapy dog.

RHS Assistant Principal


Lena Marie Rockwood

Lena Marie Rockwood, Ed.D. is the Assistant Principal for Student Support Team 1.  She has been working in the RPS district since 1999. She taught science at GMS for eight years and was an assistant principal at Lincoln Elementary for seven years, Rumney Marsh Academy for three years before moving to the high school in 2017 as the Freshman Academy Assistant Principal for the Class of 2021. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education at Salem State and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She has completed the Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML), which is a joint program of the Harvard School of Education and the Harvard Business School. Dr. Rockwood is a passionate reader who continues to encourage students (and adults) to read for pleasure in an effort to help them develop a lifelong love of reading. She is actively involved with the International Literacy Association and has been on the Social Justice Literature Award Committee for several years. When not at school, she will most likely be found reading a book or assembling a jigsaw puzzle.

RHS Assistant Principal

Freehan

Ms. Feehan is the Assistant Principal for Student Support Team 5. Ms. Feehan joined the RHS Administration Team in August 2024, as the Assistant Principal for the Multilingual Learner Community. As a first-generation Spanish as a first language student herself, Ms. Feehan is passionate about providing multilingual and multicultural students and families equitable education practices. Ms. Feehan holds a Bachelor and Master Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following the completion of a Master’s in Social Work, Ms. Feehan earned a second Masters in Educational Leadership and Management from Fitchburg University, MA. She also holds a certificate in Creative Leadership from the Perrone-Sizer Institute for Creative Leadership.

La Sra. Feehan es la subdirectora del Equipo de Apoyo Estudiantil 5. Se unió al equipo administrativo de RHS en agosto de 2024 como subdirectora de la Comunidad de Estudiantes Multilingües. Como estudiante de primera generación que tiene español como lengua materna, la Sra. Feehan se apasiona por brindar prácticas educativas equitativas a estudiantes y familias multilingües y multiculturales. La Sra. Feehan tiene una licenciatura y una maestría de la Universidad de Wisconsin-Madison. Tras completar una maestría en Trabajo Social, la Sra. Feehan obtuvo una segunda maestría en Liderazgo y Gestión Educativa de la Universidad de Fitchburg, MA. También cuenta con un certificado en Liderazgo Creativo del Instituto Perrone-Sizer de Liderazgo Creativo.
